Part 3~

Note: Hey guys i'm so sorry i made you guys wait MONTHS for this, i've been procastinating (alot) and i've been pretty lazy and busy since y'know, exams are coming up and thats pretty stressing. So heres a quick re-cap of last time for those of you who forgot. 1. You did go back to sleep and woke up after your akward moment with Austria (because you hugged him) 2. while you were in the kitchen cooking your breakfast, austria came by and told you that you could play the piano once a day. 3. you played the piano with Italy listening, and later you bumped into austria while exitting and he invited you to listen to him play, so now you're standing right next to him ready for him to play.Now then, lets get this chapter started!

Here you were standing next to Austria waiting to listen to him play the piano. Usually Hungary is the only one who's allowed to stand next to him while he plays, much to your surprize she wasn't even here today. You saw him raise his hands up towards the keys of the piano, gracefully pressing them down allowing the beautiful music flow through the room. All you could do was stand there and stare in awe as his hands glided across the piano swiftly playing the song perfectly. The melody was so calming and nice, you even closed your eyes and smiled as you imagined what the artist was expressing through the song.

A half an hour of listening to Austria's music passed by, you didn't even know that time was ticking by that quickly! Then a thought raced to your mind, Austria is always playing the piano with music sheets, but he never makes his own songs to expresses his own feelings. It's not that you were bothered by that or anything because you yourself used sheets as well. It's just that he's not expressing his feelings in music. You've always thought that songs sound better when they have a meaning to it. It's each and every artist's purpose of making something, weather it was art, music or writting. Everything has a purpose to it. Weather it was based off real life experience, a dream or a show, everyone was inspired by something. It makes you think; do those who just do covers of songs, paintings or something, are they really devoted to them? Are they truly showing their full potential if its just another copy?

"so _____ what did you think of the music?" Austria asked you, breaking your train of thoughts.

"It was very beautiful and you played it so gracefully, i'm touched by it but..." you started

"But what ____? is there something I can improve on?" he asked with curiousity in his voice. you closed your eyes for a second then said;

"It's a great song and you played all the notes correctly without any difficulties, but you're missing emotion.."

He stared at you even more confused.

"emotion?" he asked as if he wasn't sure if he'd heard you correctly.

"Mhm, What i mean is, you're playing all of these songs that other people composed which is great because it spreads their music around but... It's expressing their feelings, I'd like you to create your own songs that hold your feelings in them. One that's not written by anyone but yourself." you said rather shyly.

He looked deep in thought for a minute. As if he were taking in everything that you just said and was considering it. Then you yourself thought about what you just said. Were you requesting for him to make a song that has his feelings in it, or simply suggesting? Or did you want him to actually connect better with the piano without having to have someone else's connections in front of him? everything you just said to him was a mystery to you too. Furthermore, why did you tell him your own personal opinion about music/art? These are probably questions you'll never get a solid answer to, the ones that people ponder on all through they're lives.

"Well then _____, why don't you teach me how to show emotion in music, and after that I can create my own songs and play them for you?" he asked.

After hearing what he said it left you to ponder on this, If you teach him how to express his emotion then yea that'd not only make his music better, but if he has anything bottled up he could just let it out. It would be beneficial both health and music/art wise. after momentarily thinking you nodded your head in agreement to help him express more emotions on songs, and eventually have him write his own.

"Good, then we shall start tomorrow." he said with a slight smile on his face, You smiled back then looked at the time and excused yourself so that you could get back to work, he nodded and let you continue on with your chores.

  Austria excused you from your chores for the day to help him add emotion into songs, and boy were the other maids upset/angry about the fact that you got to have a day off to teach him something.

"Alright then, before we can add emotion to the songs you play we have to examine the sheets." you said to him while taking out his sheets folder and putting it in front of him.

"Examine the sheets? why would we have to do that if i'll be making my own?" he scoffed.

"We have to examine it so that we can see what emotions the song composer was feeling as they wrote the song. If we can do this, then it'll make the lessons alot easier for you. Certain emotions are played in a certain way and on certain notes.for example lets take this piece (insert angry piece here), the notes are deeper and are on the left side of the piano, this may show that the person is angry, another way to express that you're angry on a piano is banging hard on the keys like this." you lifted your hands up and banged on the piano a few times. "see?" you asked him hoping that he understood what you were saying.

"Oh, i see...That does make sense, what other emotions are expressed on the piano?" he asked amazed of how well you were teaching him, you giggled a bit at his question.

"Plenty of emotions are expressed on the piano, but for now lets just start with the basics. alright now lets move onto... sad pieces! (insert a sad piece here) You see how this one has its notes spread out a bit? the notes are also held onto longer. sad songs are usually played between the right of the piano or center left, either way, its leaned towards the left for the most part. the other way to show your sad on the piano is hitting the notes both softly and banging on it. It really depends on what kind of despression your in!" you quickly showed him an example of playing a sad piece, all he did was nod in responce expecting you to teach him more. You smiled, these lessons were going much better than you had expected.

after teaching Austria how to express emotions for a few hours (because there are a lot and some are more complex obviously.) you came down to the one emotion that you couldn't quite get yet. You bit your lip and tensed up a bit, Austria noticed this and asked you what was wrong. "Well....heheh.... you see uhm... there's one emotions that i myself can't really express on the piano..." he stared at you as you said that.

"and what might that one emotion be?" he asked you. you once again bit your lip. I mean really who wouldn't feel ashamed that they didn't know how to express such a simple emotion on the piano?

"Love." you said under your voice.

"I'm sorry what was that?"

"Love. I don't know how to express love on the piano."

"very well then, that's ok."

"no its not. how can i know how to express so many emotions yet not that one?!?!"

"are you experienced in it?"

".....no."

"Then that might be why."

Well, that did make sense i mean really, how can you express an emotion you've never felt before? I mean like, you loved your "mom" yea but not in the way that love should be expressed. The love you wanted to have a melody to play with was the 'love love' as in couple love. Then again, either you forgot, or didn't realize it, Austria was once married to Hungary therefore he's been in love before right? so then maybe he would be able to express it! Well it's not like love is that important right? Besides, why would he want to write a love song? well dang it...While Austria gained knowledge from you about playing emotions on the piano, you felt like you were losing knowledge on... the world literally!

The lessons soon came to an end as you quickly went over a quick run through with him. Since you're the "teacher" you gave him easy homework. You gave him 3 days to practise playing emotions o the piano, then once the three days are up, you'll test him with only one song. You told him to practice all emotions though since the song you'll pick will be random. Eventually, you'll have him write his own song.

As you were walking out of the room, you got whacked to the head. Like literally, whacked in the head. You fell down from the strong hit, and slowly looked up. there Hungary was hovering above you with a frying pan in her hands. If any face would be considered as the devil's, it would be hers. The way she glared at you was creeping you out, and then there was some sort of red aura around her. Only one explaination for all of this; shes pissed. Just as you opened your mouth to say something to her, she once again hit you with the frying pan, only this time, it was with more force. You're body slammed back on the ground as everything started fading away. the last thing you heard was her saying; "Don't take Austria away from me. And stay away from him." after that, everything went pitch black.

Okay guys, i know i said I was going to make it longer, and trust me I was! but I felt bad about making you guys wait so.... I decided to upload this right now instead of making you wait longer! I'll start working on the next part ASAP, since i want to complete this story and get it done with. That way I can start on other stories (probably one-shots) without feeling bad because i know i should be working on this. If there's any spelling mistakes then tell me! Also, please comment. i seriously need feedback on my stories! even if i don't respond I ALWAYS read my comments.
